Assistant Property Manager

West Coast Self-Storage Group has a full‑time opening in Portland, OR for Assistant Property Manager. Ideal candidates have retail sales and customer service experience and are looking to grow within our career path. Benefits $21‑$22/hr. plus monthly & quarterly bonus potential Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Paid Sick and Vacation 401(k)/Roth with matching funds Annual Profit Sharing Employee Discount Referral Program On the job training Promotion opportunities Responsibilities Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives Provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customers’ storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries) Manage, audit, and balance cash drawer and petty cash Perform general office tasks such as filing, managing customer accounts, and sorting mail/deliveries Maintain property to West Coast’s cleaning & operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs Perform other duties assigned by leadership Qualifications Retail sales, cash management, and customer service experience Ability to self‑manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives Availability to work weekends and some holidays (required) Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Equal Employment Opportunity West Coast Self‑Storage Group (WCSS) is committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
