Schedule/Shift

Shifts will typically be 8 hours, with weekend requirements varying by modality. On-call rotations are required for CT and radiography techs.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform imaging procedures in various modalities, catering to a community-based hospital's needs. The candidate will utilize a variety of equipment, including multiple X-ray units, CT scans, and ultrasound machines. The documentation system used is Epic, and minimal personal grooming and dress code are required, with the use of scrubs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of imaging procedures such as CT scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Administer contrast injections as necessary.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff on patient care and imaging requirements.
• Support the radiology department by floating to various units as required.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a radiology setting is required. Experience with Epic documentation system is a must.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• Vascular certification for ultrasound tech is preferred.
