General Responsibilities - Including but not limited to: Assist doctors in exam rooms, maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records; YES, TECHS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING NOTES TO DETAIL ON EACH CASE THEY WORK ON. Assist with diagnostics, laboratory procedures, radiology, medical procedures, and daily treatment of appointments, walk in clients, and hospitalized patients. Techs must understand treatment plans and differential diagnosis. Communicate with clients about pet's relevant health history and individualized health concerns and offer guidance, medications, and additional treatments. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Qualifications Minimum 5 yrs working as a Veterinary Technician (not as a Vet Assistant ) in a small animal clinic. CVT preferred but not required. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE.
