Job Summary

Lucky's Paw Playhouse - Dog Daycare and Boarding facility located in Dripping Springs is seeking a   to join our team a reliable Kennel Technicians. We are looking for someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care for our customers while their pups lodge with us. We expect you to provide a fun, safe, and clean environment for dogs and put customers at ease, assuring them that their pets will be safe. 
Prior experience in animal care would be helpful but not required.

Responsibilities 

• Follow guidelines to feed the pups, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed
• Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every dog under your care has a safe, healthy living environment
• Socialize and exercise dogs under your care 
• Interact with the pups, providing a positive human experience
• Maintain proper records of all dogs and care given throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and types
• Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time while you are outside in the yards with the dogs 
• Have a good work ethic: promptness, coachable, work well with others and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiply tasks
• Ability to work morning, evening shifts and at least one weekend day per week and rotating holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 or older to apply
