Join Comfort Temp Company as a Delivery Driver! We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to transport and deliver HVAC supplies, materials, parts, and equipment to our customers, job sites, and facilities throughout the Gainesville area and surrounding regions.

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in keeping our field operations moving by ensuring our teams have the materials and equipment they need, when they need them. In addition to deliveries, this position supports warehouse organization, inventory management, loading and unloading, and the safe operation of delivery and warehouse equipment.

A CDL is preferred but not required. For the right candidate, Comfort Temp Company is willing to sponsor and support you in obtaining your CDL, providing an opportunity to develop additional skills and grow within the company.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver HVAC supplies, materials, parts, and equipment to job sites and facilities.
• Store, organize, and rotate stock utilizing proper storage methods and procedures.
• Prepare, pack, and load supplies, materials, parts, and equipment.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate delivery vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Perform regular checks on warehouse and delivery vehicles for fluid levels, proper tire pressure, cleanliness, and general condition; report potential safety issues or service needs.
• Maintain storage areas and warehouse equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Pull supply orders and perform periodic inventories; recommend items for reorder to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate with field personnel and leadership to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL preferred; however, CDL is not required to apply.
• Comfort Temp Company will sponsor and support CDL training and licensing for the right candidate.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
• Strong team orientation with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to accurately maintain documentation and records.
• Strong organizational skills to meet schedules and timelines.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in reading maps, schedules, and adhering to assigned routes.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to completing assigned responsibilities.
