Substitute Special Education Bus Aide

Bus Aide
The Bus Aide will work at multiple locations as needed.
The bus aide will ensure the safety and well-being of a special education student being transported to and from Warrick Education Center by monitoring the student for seizures.
If the student would have a seizure, the Bus Aide will be expected to follow the health plan and administer medicine. The Bus Aide will be trained on how to administer the medicine.
In the event of an accident or emergency, assure the safe evacuation of children and adults passengers.
Assists in maintaining the interior of the vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition.
Assures that no child is ever left unsupervised on a bus.
Performs other duties, as may be assigned.
