Loss Prevention Officer

Continental operates in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Security Officers will be working under the Loss Prevention section of Continental for a retail box store. Job Description Loss Prevention Officers will work as a uniformed retail Loss Prevention Officer. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be required to monitor cameras for potential shoplifters. You will be required to confront and stop all potential shoplifters. Loss Prevention Officers will need to be able to write detailed reports for the client on the shop lifting incident. Loss Prevention Officers will be required to testify in court for the shop lifting incident. Loss Prevention Officers will need to be customer service orientated, have great verbal and written communication skills. Loss Prevention Officers will network with local Law Enforcement to help deter and apprehend shoplifters. Schedule Sunday: 1200‑2000 Monday: 1100‑1900 Tuesday/Wednesday: OFF Thursday: 1100‑1900 Friday: 1100‑1900 Saturday: 1200‑2000 Requirements Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check and a drug screen Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED Must have Security experience (1 year) and strong Customer Service Skills (1 year) Must have good written/verbal communication skills All Security Experience/Customer Service Experience should be listed on your Resume Summary As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be essential in safeguarding company assets and minimizing theft through effective surveillance and loss prevention strategies. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will utilize core skills in CCTV monitoring and loss prevention techniques. Strong communication and customer service skills are vital as you interact with staff and customers.
