Clinical Therapist (1.0 FTE/Days)

Clinical TherapistAt Franciscan, our Clinical Therapists provide evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with a Physician or licensed Psychologist. In this role you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with behavioral health disorders and/or dual diagnoses. Franciscan Health takes pride in hiring coworkers who provide compassionate, comprehensive care for our patients and the communities we serve.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTHours: Mon through Fri 8AM to 4:30PM.This is a work from home position.Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional/Training can be provided if needed.Direct, or administer psychotherapeutic treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.Perform thorough patient psychosocial assessments to explore the physical, psychological, and social aspects of the patient and their conditions.Teach, take continuing education classes, and attend conferences or seminars to increase understanding of mental, emotional, or behavioral states or disorders.Document patient care information, and ensure timely and accurate completion of patient care records in accordance with policies and procedures.Analyze and evaluate patient data or test findings to diagnose nature or extent of mental disorder.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Master's Degree Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and FamilyRequired 2 years Social Services work experienceRequired Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC)Required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American HeartPreferred experience in diagnosing and treating perinatal mood disorders and anxiety disorders.Preferred experience with cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed care.TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:JOB RANGE:INCENTIVE:EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERIt is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
