About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1+ year License: Pending License not accepted Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA required Must-Have: Strong experience with vascular procedures is ideal. Experience with angiology, aortic aneurysm repair, and coronary artery bypass grafting. Knowledge of aseptic technique and specimen handling/labeling. Description: The CVOR Tech will provide specialized support in the operating room. This role involves scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures. The position does not require circulating, but may support nursing staff when needed. A strong understanding of the universal protocol and safety measures is critical. Call requirements will be discussed during the interview process. On-call duties vary based on staffing levels, with weekends included. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission for approval. Local candidates are encouraged to apply if they meet the specified distance requirements. Travelers will be required to float to other units or campuses as needed based on census concerns. Candidates must complete pre-assignment testing and annual compliance requirements.
