Travel Oncology Registered Nurse

Overview: Position: Oncology Registered Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Oncology Shifts Available: Days Pay: up to $672 - $768 gross pay per shift ; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.
