SimonMed Imaging – Clinical / Non‑Exempt / On‑Site What you bring ARRT‑MR or ARMRIT certification required Valid state licensure current (where required) Hands‑on CPR/BLS certified and current Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program 1+ year of experience in a high‑volume MRI environment preferred MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture Responsibilities Operate MRI scanners to produce high‑resolution diagnostic images, select appropriate imaging techniques based on physician orders and patient condition, and evaluate image quality before it reaches a radiologist. Enforce MRI safety protocols, screen patients thoroughly, assess contrast contraindications, monitor patients during procedures, and respond calmly when unexpected issues arise. Maintain accurate patient documentation in PACS and imaging software, perform routine quality control checks, and keep equipment in good working condition. Manage workflow autonomously, adapt to protocol changes or patient needs mid‑scan, and provide mentorship to new staff or students. Demonstrate patient empathy by ensuring correct positioning, explaining procedures in plain language, and providing calm, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
