Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered respiratory care in a setting that upholds best practices and fosters relationship-based care. Deliver professional respiratory therapy services aligned with ethical standards, state regulations, and evidence-based guidelines. Demonstrate expertise in respiratory assessments, treatment modalities, life support certifications, critical thinking, and prioritization. Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough age-specific assessments and reassessments. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to gather comprehensive medical histories. Document findings in accordance with unit policies.
• Identify actual or potential physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, infection control, environmental, and educational needs. Prioritize patient care based on assessments. Interpret findings to guide patient and family education.
• Work with healthcare team members to develop and revise individualized care and education plans aimed at optimal patient outcomes. Incorporate patient and family input into care plans.
• Deliver age-appropriate care using evidence-based interventions tailored to diagnoses. Coordinate with community resources and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Assess the effectiveness of respiratory interventions and patient responses. Adjust care plans as needed based on evaluations and feedback from patients and healthcare providers.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Associate Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care within one year of hire and maintain active status.
• Active Respiratory Care Provider license from the state health professions bureau required.

Work Shift: Third shift (overnight) in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 hours.
