Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Location: Indiana

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM; Call requirements: Every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend. No option for block schedule.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) will be responsible for circulating complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases. The ideal candidate will have experience handling various cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases including CABG, AVR, MVR.
• Manage surgeries involving Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Aortic Root Replacements, and more.
• Perform case management for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs and Femoral-Popliteal Bypass.
• Oversee Carotid Endarterectomies, AV fistula creations, and Impella placement.
• Assist with ECMO cases, Thoracotomy, and Robotic thoracotomy procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Indiana RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• 2-4 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing.

Patient Ratio: 1:1 patient to nurse ratio in the operating room.
