Service Foreman

The Service Foreman coordinates the daily workflow of vehicles through the shop, ensures that qualified technicians perform repairs correctly and efficiently and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Assign priority to each vehicle repair order and select the appropriate technician
• • Oversee shop workflow
• • Arrange contract repairs when work cannot be performed internally
• • Inspect completed work and documentation
• • Provide training and mentoring to new employees
• • Monitor workspace and employees for Safety compliance
• • Communicating with customers

Education, Skills and Knowledge Required:

• • Valid driver's license, Class A CDL, preferred
• • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• • Knowledge of Project Management software and Microsoft Outlook
• • Effective oral and written communication skills
• • Attention to detail
