Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates
\n
• Develop unit pricing for materials, labor, and construction components
\n
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals
\n
• Utilize BIM technology to support estimating and project planning
\n
• Generate project renderings and virtual construction logistics plans
\n
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout preconstruction
\n
• Maintain strong relationships with design consultants and trade partners
\n
• Support the use of estimating and design software to improve project efficiency
\n
• Mentor and support junior estimating team members
\n
• Participate in industry events and professional associations
\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 2 to 10 years of construction estimating experience
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
\n
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and estimating processes
\n
• Proficiency with Sage Timberline, iSqFt, and On-Screen Takeoff
\n
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley, Navisworks, or SketchUp Pro
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
\n
• Strong subcontractor negotiation and relationship management skills
\n
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with an interest in professional development
\n
