CT Technologist - Freestanding ER (Black Diamond) We are looking for a Florida‑licensed CT Technologist to work on a PRN/per diem/as‑needed basis in our freestanding emergency department. Job Responsibilities Select proper technical factors for studies and perform & complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately, in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner. Maintain operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser film, and teleradiology system. Assist in the administration of contrast media and related procedures. Prepare, transfer and position patients safely, ensuring modesty and proper use of auxiliary equipment. Document all clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time. Obtain high‑quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation. Stay current with software protocols through in‑service study, courses or seminars. Communicate proactively with patients, radiologists and other caregiver colleagues. Check equipment operation, keep the room clean and stocked with linens and supplies. Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care. Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited, AMA‑approved institution, including hospital training. ARRT (CT) certification. Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving and/or lifting patients/equipment up to 100 lbs. Minimum of 2 years current or recent experience in diagnostic radiology (X‑Ray or CT), preferably in an acute‑care setting.
