Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Round Rock, Texas. This is a 13-week contract assignment working days, with shift hours from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), experience with MEDITECH electronic medical record system, no minimum years of experience required, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, Meditech experience, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position is for a vacant RN role in a busy Emergency Department, with a focus on trauma and emergency care procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser, and resuscitation. The unit has a highly experienced and tenured staff, new equipment, and a team-oriented environment. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
