Krones Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.Shift: 1st shiftJob Summary: This position is in the Lathe Department, and it involves moving from one machine to another as needed when workload shifts. The machines include 2- and 3-axis Mazak Quick Turns and Bar feeders. The individual in this role will perform a series of complex machine operations, including setup and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. This will involve conversational programming and performing first piece and in-process quality inspections. The individual in this position will run different grades of material and perform multiple setups a day.Qualifications: High school diploma 3 to 5 years of CNC machining operation setup and programming experience preferred Experience performing multiple setups per day and running different grades of material Mazatrol conversational programming knowledge Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls Knowledge of metric blueprints along with GD&T preferred Knowledge of 2- and 3-axis Mazak Quick Turns and Bar Feeders preferredWork Environment / Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy weights, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to work in various conditions such as extreme heat and noise levelKrones, Inc. offers an outstanding opportunity to be involved with and challenged by leading-edge technologies, further career opportunities to learn and develop skills, a flexible work schedule and a competitive salary and benefits program.
