Weekend: 6a - 6p F-Sun (Paid 40hrs)

$18-25hr (BOE)

Job Description

This role focuses on safely operating overhead and gantry cranes to move, position, and stage heavy materials within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will support production flow by transporting raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead and/or gantry cranes to lift, move, and position materials and products safely within the facility.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and production areas while preventing damage to materials and equipment.
• Coordinate material movement with production, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Use rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and hooks to secure loads for transport.
• Assist as a groundman or spotter by guiding crane movements using hand signals and maintaining safe lift zones.
• Stage raw materials and finished goods in designated locations to support production and shipping schedules.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed to support operations.
• Inspect loads for stability and ensure proper weight distribution prior to lifting and moving materials.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies related to crane operation and material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Taylors, SC.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
