We're seeking an organized Assistant Manager for a HUD-assisted, Project-Based Section 8 community. You'll support operations and resident service while building strong HUD compliance skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Support daily operations, leasing, and resident relations

• Assist with annual and interim recertifications using EIV

• Help prepare monthly TRACS submissions and keep files audit-ready

• Support Management & Occupancy Review (MOR) preparation

• Administer waitlists and verify household eligibility

• Manage rent collection, post payments, and follow up on delinquencies

• Provide outstanding service to residents and applicants

• Support the Property Manager and step in as needed

What we're looking for:

• +1 year in property management, HUD / Project-Based Section 8 preferred

• Familiarity with HAP contracts, TRACS, EIV, and HUD recertification rules

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

• Solid understanding of Fair Housing requirements

• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage)

• COS, NAHP, or BOS certification a plus

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hour, paid weekly
