Senior Support Technician/Junior Network Administrator

Location: On-site, White Plains, NY Contract: 6 months (potential for extension or conversion to full-time) Pay: $30–$35/hr Start: Interviews ASAP; project begins in 6–7 weeks (training and onboarding in advance) Key Responsibilities Remotely guide on-site technicians in configuring and troubleshooting network and store equipment. Follow runbooks and provide expert support for any deviations or issues during deployments. Document and escalate issues as needed, but able to resolve most problems independently. Participate in training and test runs to ensure full understanding of processes and technology stack. Shift: Weekdays on-site, with weekend cutover support (flexibility required; some weeks may involve 6–7 days of work). Requirements 2+ years of IT support or deployment experience (not entry-level). Strong troubleshooting skills; able to diagnose network and device issues without immediate escalation. Experience with switches, routers, and familiarity with VLANs (Ubiquiti experience is a plus). CompTIA Network+ or similar certification preferred. Professional phone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly with field techs.
