Street Team Event Staff - Homestead-Miami Speedway

Overview We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to support awareness‑building and community engagement efforts, creating excitement for the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series Championship Weekend (Nov6-8,2026). Responsibilities and Tasks Serve as the ambassador for Homestead‑Miami Speedway at public appearances and promotional events throughout South Florida, engaging fans, newcomers, and potential customers to encourage attendance at the 2026 Cup Series Weekend. Support NASCAR marketing and event initiatives, including the 2026 Cup Series Weekend, NASCAR Racing Experience Media & Influencer Day, Fourth of July Celebration, and Fast Lane Friday events. Engage with customers and prospects on‑site at grassroots events to generate leads and close ticket sales for the 2026 Cup Series Weekend. Collect valuable data from event attendees, gather prospects for email campaigns, and encourage sign‑ups for the mailing list. Educate the community about Homestead‑Miami Speedway, its history, and ticket opportunities. Maintain expertise on the products and services offered by Homestead‑Miami Speedway. Ensure promotion materials and giveaway items are well‑stocked and ready for distribution. Participate in public appearances with the promo car and/or retired race car, maintaining the condition of both vehicles. Coordinate transportation of the retired race car with the towing team and supervise loading/unloading to ensure careful handling and proper staging at events and activations. Assist with set‑up and tear‑down of displays; travel to the office to collect grassroots activation items and transport them to event locations using your own car. Set up activations during events, dismantle after, and return items to Homestead‑Miami Speedway post‑event. Travel to out‑of‑town locations when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum age of 18 years. Bilingual: native in English and Spanish. High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism when interacting with customers; a happy disposition. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to enhancing presentation and activation setup. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills, capable of engaging a wide range of stakeholders. Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving, detail‑oriented, and a strong team player. Self‑motivated and organized, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and think strategically to solve problems. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weeknights, and evenings, adapting to event schedules. Desired Qualifications Sales experience. Current enrollment in a college or university program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a related field, with a strong interest in motorsports and event marketing.
