Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Sonographer -Cardiac for a 13-week travel assignment i n Batesville, AR .

Contract Details

• Days, Tuesday-Friday 11a-730p and Saturday 8-430 (40 Hour Guarantee)
• Start Date: 6/22/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Location: Batesville, AR
• Hourly Pay: $ 41.50
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
• Weekly Total Pay: $2491.00
• Weekend Requirements: Every Saturday 8a-430p
• On Call Requirements: 1 weekday night
• Dress Code: Traveler-Provided Matching Scrubs
• EMR: MediTech
• PACS: Philips epiq
• Current equipment: 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines, 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine and Vasculab ABI machine
• Traveler Policy: Client will not review applicants within 90 miles of Batesville. Applicants between 90 and 150 miles may not be selected, but will be reviewed.

The Sonographer is responsible for performing high quality diagnostic exams/procedures in the Ultrasound department in an efficient manner according to the physician’s order. The Sonographer works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete studies in a timely and efficient manner utilizing downtime to assist others where needed.
• Assures exam charges and 5 day late list are checked daily for the ultrasound department.
• Organizes workload during high volume to expedite patient care and communicates to other technologists all pending exams and any pertinent information.
• Assists the physician in performing radiology procedures.
• Promotes positive relationships at the department level and discusses concerns with the supervisor and presents the department in a positive manner to other employees and staff.
• Maintains supplies with a minimum inventory and develops new methods of supply utilization.
• Handles equipment in a safe and appropriate manner within guidelines and policies of WRMC and the Ultrasound/Non-Invasive department. Maintains clean work area and follows equipment cleaning policies. Assures exterior surfaces of the machines are wiped down after each workday and between patients as appropriate.
• Follow the “on-call” policy by responding to call back within acceptable time-frame and arriving in the department within 30 minutes after being called in.
• Willingly assist with procedures in any area of radiology when needed. Check with co-workers during downtime for need of assistance.
• Follows attendance and tardy policies.
• Follows WRMC dress code and appearance policy.
• Participates in required hospital and department in-services and meetings.
• Follows safety and infection control policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience is required
• Must have Echo and Vascular Experience is required
• Must be able to perform Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast is required
• Must be able to perform Echo and Vascular studies (TTE Echocardiograms, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, Thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams) is required
• Able to start own IV - Required
• MediTech EMR Experience is required
• Active ARDMS Certification is required
• Active American Heart Association BLS is required
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
