Description

Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, is seeking an experienced Electrician to support a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN . This contract-to-hire position is ideal for an electrician with strong commercial or industrial experience who enjoys preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting critical building systems in a collaborative environment. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with the opportunity for overtime.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, and power systems.
Install, repair, and replace electrical components including wiring, motors, switches, breakers, controls, panels, and related equipment.
Complete scheduled maintenance assignments and daily preventive maintenance (PM) work orders.
Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues before failures occur.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and determine appropriate repair solutions.
Assist with new equipment installations and modifications to existing electrical systems.
Review maintenance history to support preventive maintenance planning.
Utilize a CMMS system to document completed work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, vendors, and client personnel.
Participate in daily team meetings while effectively managing assigned work independently.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Support additional facility maintenance projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
Trade school education or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience performing preventive maintenance and electrical repairs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a maintenance team.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, climbing ladders, and working in mechanical spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 Certification.
Journeyman or Electrician License.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Previous experience supporting pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional attitude with the ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented environments.
