Description

Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, is seeking an experienced Electrician to support a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN . This contract-to-hire position is ideal for an electrician with strong commercial or industrial experience who enjoys preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting critical building systems in a collaborative environment. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with the opportunity for overtime.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, and power systems.
• Install, repair, and replace electrical components including wiring, motors, switches, breakers, controls, panels, and related equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance assignments and daily preventive maintenance (PM) work orders.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues before failures occur.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Assist with new equipment installations and modifications to existing electrical systems.
• Review maintenance history to support preventive maintenance planning.
• Utilize a CMMS system to document completed work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, vendors, and client personnel.
• Participate in daily team meetings while effectively managing assigned work independently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support additional facility maintenance projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school education or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and electrical repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a maintenance team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, climbing ladders, and working in mechanical spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Journeyman or Electrician License.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Previous experience supporting pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional attitude with the ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented environments.
