Client Case Manager – Day Reporting and Electronic Home Monitoring Location: 3260 Airport Road, Boulder, Colorado. Job Type: Full-time, exempt under FLSA, non-traditional shifts Wednesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week. Salary Range: $67,068.00 – $81,834.00 per year. Responsibilities Exercise direct and indirect supervision of JPC clients and ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, local and state statutes, and best practices. Perform case management for assigned clients using validated assessment tools; co-create case plans with clients; utilize evidence‑based practices in interactions and interventions. Coordinate with other areas of JPC to ensure timely dissemination of information and scheduling of client activities inside and outside the facility. Participate in off‑site job/activity checks, substance use testing, random searches of property and person, documentation, and investigation of rule violations. Ensure proper intake procedures, client evaluations and release‑from‑sentence reviews are completed in a timely manner and related updates are disseminated. Respond to emergency situations involving clients both inside and outside the facility and after standard work hours when necessary. Coordinate with courts, probation, and other law‑enforcement agencies regarding client assignment, participation, and compliance with sentencing programs, including DCJ standards. Participate in cross‑program training to provide coverage, on‑call consultation, and technical assistance to staff. Document accountability to system partners throughout the 20th Judicial and provide required documentation to court. Support senior leadership in EOC emergency situations as directed. Conduct financial discussions with clients regarding program fees, restitutions, and personal budgeting. Perform related work as required and may be reassigned during emergencies. Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of combined education and experience in criminal justice, human services, or a related field. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Experience in case management with criminal justice or crossover populations (mental health, homelessness, substance use, at‑risk youth). Knowledge of alternative sentencing programs: Electronic Home Monitoring, Day Reporting, Work Release, Community Corrections. Background investigation with fingerprinting; job offer contingent on successful completion. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish; additional compensation for bilingual skills. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong self‑awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion considerations. Effective collaboration with employees, clients, agencies, and the public. System‑level knowledge of criminal justice with adult correctional settings. Proficiency in de‑escalation, conflict resolution and motivational interviewing. Basic business and office protocols; proficiency in SharePoint and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of evidence‑based practices, gender‑specific programming and trauma‑informed care. Ability to work directly with at‑risk and disadvantaged populations. Interviewing and counseling skills. Physical Requirements Frequent walking, bending, crouching, sitting or standing for extended periods. Operating large vehicles daily and/or conducting home visits; occasional physical pursuit, restraint and control of minors. Occasional lifting and carrying of meal carts; hand‑eye coordination for computer use. Vision necessary for reading, recording and interpreting information. Speech and hearing for communication with staff and the public.
