Live-In CaregiverPreferred Care at Home of Central Fairfield is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated experienced Live-In Caregivers to join our team in Fairfield, CT. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This experienced caregiver role allows clients to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.Responsibilities:Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressingProvide medication reminders and assist with transfers using slide boardAssist with meal planning and preparationPerform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dishesMonitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate partiesProvide emotional support and companionship to clientsCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and the care teamAdhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clientsRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care settingAbility to pass a thorough background check and drug screeningKnowledge of basic caregiver skills and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalismAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of timeMust be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidaysBenefits:Flexible scheduleHoliday Pay (time and a half for 10 holidays)Direct Deposit401K Savings PlanTap-Check On-Demand PayCompetitive PayEEOC Statement: Preferred Care at Home of Central Fairfield is an equal opportunity employer.
