Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Arizona 24-Hour Call Beginning June 1 - September 30 Assignment Coverage Details June 1 - September 30, 2026, 7 AM - 7 AM Must be able to provide a minimum of 7 shifts per weekShift Description 24-hour call and/or clinic-OR-call model depending on final site needRequirements Board certified thoracic and cardiac surgery Active Arizona license or IMLC Active ACLS, BLS, DEA - highly preferred Clean malpractice/background - highly preferredRequired Procedures / Skills CABG (on and off pump) Valve surgery (AVR, MVR, TAVR) ECMO Emergent post-PCI cases Type A aortic dissections Chest exploration, re-entry, and postoperative bleeding managementAssignment Details Urgent and emergent cardiac surgery coverage required Level I trauma center with high-volume, high-acuity cardiac surgery service 430-bed acute care facility Two dedicated CVORs and 20 CVICU beds Admissions per day: 70 Inpatient discharges per day: 90-100 APP support including NP and first assist coverage Duties include comprehensive cardiothoracic patient management across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases OR coverage, consults, daily rounding, and on-call responsibilities Multidisciplinary collaboration with ICU, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, perfusion, and OR teams Facility Trauma Level: Level I Credentialing time frame: Approximately 90 days; emergency credentialing available with a clean file EMR: Cerner with Ingenious Med (iMed)Jackson and Coker offers:+ Weekly Direct Deposit+ Top Rated Malpractice Insurance+ In-House Travel Agency+ 24/7 Recruiter Availability+ Experienced In-House Privileging CoordinatorsExperience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.Apply Today!Wyatt MillerRecruiting Consultant
