About the Role

The Company is in need of an Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide executive leadership during a critical period of organizational and technology transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering steady guidance to the technology organization, assessing the current state, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role is pivotal in establishing the foundation for a long-term technology strategy and will involve close partnership with executive stakeholders to define recommendations for a future-state organization. The Interim CTO will also lead efforts to document current technology assets, identify risks, and establish best practices for technology governance and execution. Applicants for the Interim CTO position at the company should have a background as a senior technology leader, with a focus on software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and technology operations. Experience in leading technology organizations through transformation and a deep understanding of organizational and technical functions are essential. The role requires strong executive communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a proven track record in driving alignment across leadership teams. While not mandatory, experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries, as well as a background in private equity-backed or growth-stage organizations, is preferred. The Interim CTO will also be expected to have a proactive approach to risk identification and to serve as a trusted advisor on technology strategy and transformation initiatives.
