Registered Nurse (RN) Mother Baby

The RN Mother Baby provides postnatal care to new mothers and their newborns. Responsibilities include monitoring the health of both mother and infant, facilitating bonding and breastfeeding, and offering education on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Assess and monitor maternal and infant well-being post-delivery.

Administer medications and interventions as directed by healthcare providers.

Educate families on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.

Maintain accurate medical records, documenting mother and infant progress.

Provide emotional support and resources for new parents.

Collaborate with pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other specialists.

Hospital setting or specialized mother-baby unit, focusing on postpartum care.
