About the Position

Our client in VA is seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist for a 14-day assignment. This role involves onsite weekday shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, covering weekday evening call from 5 PM to 7 AM, and weekend call from Saturday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM. The Physician will provide inpatient care, managing adult and geriatric patients while performing critical procedures such as balloon angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, and heart catheterizations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Balloon Angioplasties
• Conduct Coronary Angioplasty
• Execute Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Perform Heart Catheterization
• Provide Medical Management of Vascular Disease
• Conduct Coronary Angiograms
• Utilize Embolic Protection techniques
• Perform Carotid Artery Stenting
• Execute Atherectomy procedures
• Manage adult and geriatric patient populations
• Oversee an average of more than 2 inpatient admissions per physician per day
