To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Virginia State Board of Nursing One (1) year of experience in medication administration in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long‑term care facility including the dispensing of narcotic medication. Additionally, candidates excel with proficiency in conducting health assessments, medication management, and providing supportive counseling. Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are also essential.
