Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Required Qualifications: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph Providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting system requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical assessment Implementing operational view, technical standards view, and system and services view for architectures using applicable DoDAF standards. Reviewing and/or approving system engineering documentation ensuring that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete Developing system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents Managing and ensuring the technical integrity of the system baseline, continually updating as various changes are imposed on the system during the lifecycle from development through deployment and operations & maintenance Developing scenarios (threads) and an Operational Concept that describes the interactions between the system, the user, and the environment, that satisfies operational, support, and maintenance, and disposal needs Desired Qualifications: Experience as an Agile SCRUM Master Experience working in an Agile software development environment Experience generating technical documentation Experience using with Jira and Confluence Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized, up to 16‑hours per week (depending on team and workflow) Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD Summary Pay Range: $167,000 - $220,000 (general guideline only; pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations) Expected Closure Date: Applications for this position will be accepted through June 30, 2026 . #J-18808-Ljbffr RPMGlobal
