Licensed Pharmacist Contract Opportunity

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 45-bed community hospital in the Bakersfield area. This position offers the chance to work in an inpatient setting utilizing Cerner pharmacy information systems.

Location: Bakersfield area, CA

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Variable days and afternoon shifts starting at 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities: Accurately dispense medications and manage inpatient pharmacy operations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Utilize Cerner electronic health records and pharmacy systems efficiently. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications: Current pharmacist license in California. 2 to 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
