As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and compassionate care to individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role involves working independently to deliver specialized patient care, including for clients with dementia or disabilities, primarily within their homes through local travel. You will work a blend of regular day, evening, and night shifts to ensure continuous support.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care tailored to individual client needs
- Assist with mobility and transfers safely
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Offer companionship to enhance emotional well-being
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments and errands
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients and families
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified in CPR
- Current Tuberculosis (TB) test
- Background Check
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in caregiving
- Skills in patient care and first aid
- Strong communication abilities
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion
