Nitrogen Pump OperatorElement Technical Services LLC is currently hiring for the position of Nitrogen Pump Operator. The job duties include:Assessment of the valves and seats in the pumpResponsible for maintenance and sampling schedule of the pumpChanging the packing on the Bowie PumpFamiliarity and identification of the iron, sizes and pressure ratingsKnowledge of the critical components listingUse of proper specialty tools for pumps and rebuilding pumps as neededTraining and mentorship of less experienced coworkersRebuilding 2X2, 2X1 valvesVac out unit as neededUnderstands and executes proper winter proceduresIdentifies and becomes familiar with the scope of each jobUnderstanding of the Emergency Shut Down ProceduresPerform pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety and roadworthinessAttend pre-job safety meetingsComply with applicable legislation including safe operation, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, fatigue managementManeuver equipment following appropriate hand signals.Maintain driver logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.Maintains effective communication with co-workersRequirements include:Class 1 driver's license (CDL) with Air brake endorsementSatisfactory driving recordPrior experience an assetKnowledge of truck and equipment safetyUse of timelines and time managementHigh level of personal integrityStrong work ethicMature demeanor under stressful situationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWork independently in a busy environment and diverse environmentWork conditions include:Rotation schedules vary 20/10Physical ability to lift up to 50lbTravel to off-site locations requiredPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. coveralls, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.Hazards associated with the tradeWorking outdoors in all weather conditions
