Junior Systems Engineer, Labs

Responsibilities Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensure requirements comply with client and government standards through formal verification methods. Translate high‑level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and work with engineering disciplines to develop lower‑level detailed implementation requirements. Establish and coordinate development of standards, practices, and procedures related to overall product development. Design interfaces and integrate system elements so they operate as a whole. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Serve as customer liaison and support business development activities to understand and shape requirements. Participate in system conceptual design and documentation of design concepts. Review design and test plans/procedures to ensure they meet contractual objectives and participate in the testing process to validate requirements. Qualifications Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance CompTIA Security+ CE certification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience (lab/IT support, military, etc.) Desired Qualifications Experience building, configuring, and maintaining test/lab environments Experience supporting integration, testing, and troubleshooting Experience working with networks, systems, and cyber tools Clearances U.S. Citizenship Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance EEO Statement TekSynap is committed to providing equal employment and advancement opportunities.
