The company offers opportunities to contribute directly to essential infrastructure and community services. Role Description This full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role is based in Calhoun, LA. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, following designated routes, and complying with all DOT and company safety regulations. The driver will assist with loading and unloading, coordinate with project crews and dispatch, and maintain accurate delivery and mileage records. The role may also involve supporting field operations as needed, such as moving equipment around job sites and adhering to all site‑specific safety protocols. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification. Proven experience operating commercial trucks, including familiarity with flatbeds, lowboys, or other equipment‑hauling trailers. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours‑of‑service rules, and safe driving practices. Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections, basic preventative maintenance checks, and accurate logbook or electronic logging. Capability to safely secure and handle loads, including use of chains, binders, tarps, and other load securement devices. Willingness to work in outdoor construction and civil job site environments and to support crews as needed. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and route plans. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in civil construction, pipe work, or underground utilities is a plus. Ability to lift and move materials as required, meet physical demands of the job, and consistently adhere to all safety procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
