Role Description The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Flowery Branch, GA, responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the community. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing building systems, and addressing work orders in a timely and professional manner. The role involves responding to maintenance requests from residents, troubleshooting issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, and assisting with unit turns and inspections. The Service Technician will collaborate closely with the property management team, support vendor coordination, and help ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards and local regulations. Regular interaction with residents is expected, with a focus on delivering courteous, solutions-oriented service. Qualifications Strong Maintenance & Repair skills for building systems, fixtures, and appliances. Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues. Experience in Field Service or on-site maintenance roles within residential or commercial properties. Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with residents and team members. General Maintenance knowledge, including safety practices, use of tools, and basic construction or carpentry. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus. Ability to work on-call or flexible hours as needed and to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in varied weather conditions.
