Associate Scientific Director

Our client is a commercial-stage neuroscience and rare-disease biopharmaceutical company with multiple FDA-approved therapies and a mid- to late-stage pipeline. About the role An emerging discipline expert who drives Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and epidemiology real-world evidence across a portfolio of research projects. The Associate Scientific Director leads the design, execution, and oversight of studies that establish prevalence, disease burden, epidemiology, and health outcomes, partnering with Global Clinical Development, New Product Planning, Drug Safety, Biostatistics, and Medical Affairs. Key responsibilities With minimal supervision, design and implement disease- and product-specific evidence projects supporting clinical strategy, value assessment, and market access. Design and execute complex epidemiological and real-world-data studies. Use large commercial claims and other real-world datasets as the foundation of research, including data-collection criteria, literature review, and data abstraction. Guide pre- and post-launch evidence-generation strategy. Lead reports, manuscripts, and presentations, and serve as subject-matter expert with academic and patient-advocacy partners. Mentor consultants and junior staff, and manage vendors. Required qualifications MPH or master\'s in public health with 10+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 4+ years. Expertise in epidemiology and with large commercial claims and other real-world datasets. Expert statistical modeling in R, SAS, STATA, or similar. Strong record of peer-reviewed publication. Preferred qualifications Neuroscience, psychiatry, endocrine, or rare-disease epidemiology. Pre- and post-launch evidence-generation experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
