Position: Shipping Coordinator


Location: Redlands, CA


Pay: $19.25 per hour


Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM-3:40 PM


Openings: 1


Job Summary
The Shipping Coordinator supports daily shipping and receiving operations and serves as a primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing drivers. This position combines clerical responsibilities, including data entry, Bills of Lading, scheduling, and shipment tracking, with hands-on warehouse duties and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Perform data entry using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Coordinate load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch activities.
• Track and trace shipments and communicate status updates.
• Maintain accurate inbound and outbound schedules.
• Check drivers in and out and verify required paperwork.
• Audit load information and report discrepancies.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouse teams, and management.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of shipping coordination, dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations experience.
• Strong clerical, data entry, and computer skills.
• Experience with shipping documentation and Bills of Lading preferred.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment.
• Able and willing to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience with stand-up, reach, and/or sit-down forklifts preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
