Description: Unit consists of 82 beds with a patient ratio of 1:16. Common diagnoses include pneumonia, sepsis, post-surgical patients, respiratory failure, heart failure, and COVID-19. Daily responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), stocking supplies, and cleaning rooms upon discharge. This role may require floating within critical care areas as needed. The position involves no call or standby requirements. The work schedule will include every other weekend and possible holiday shifts. Charting is performed using an electronic medical record system. Team members are expected to maintain a professional appearance. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.
