ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing critical patient care in an intensive care setting, particularly during night shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Prior ICU experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Additional Information

• Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs.
• The facility includes multiple ICU beds, providing comprehensive critical care services.
• Potential candidates with pending state licenses may be considered.
