Limited Term, Laboratory Services Coordinator

Responsibilities Provide timely, effective, and thorough service to laboratory referral sources, hospital staff, patient families, and others based on Children’s service standards; facilitate flow of samples and information to and from reference laboratories; fulfill laboratory’s revenue cycle‑related requirements for optimal reimbursement and compliant billing; serve as a resource for community service operations, sendouts testing, laboratory revenue cycle activities, and customer service; participate in process improvement efforts aimed at improving flow of laboratory services. Limited Term Role Limited Term Role to end: 7/1/2027 Required Education and Experience Associate’s Degree in a Science related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years of clinical laboratory experience. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred At least 5 years experience with clinical laboratory sample processing, sendouts, and/or registration. Two (2) years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting. Compensation Range $29.16 - $43.73 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
