About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified OR RN in Anchorage, Alaska, 99501!

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 17, 2026 (posting also notes ASAP)
• Shift: 3×12-hour day shifts (typically 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and surgical equipment.
• Assess and prepare patients for surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Monitor patients throughout surgery.
• Administer medications and document care in Epic.
• Ensure patient safety through surgical counts and infection control.
• Respond to emergencies and provide post-operative handoff.
• Participate in on-call duties and float as needed.

Requirements

Requirements :

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 2+ years of Operating Room experience .
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR.
• Alaska RN license .
• Willing to take on-call , work weekends , and float to similar units if needed.
