Ophthalmic TechnicianThe Retina Group of Florida is a multi-office ophthalmology practice specializing in diseases of the retina. Currently seeking full-time ophthalmic technicians to join our team at our locations in Palm Beach or Broward counties. Position is full-time with excellent benefits.General Job Description and Requirements, All Applicants:Should possess excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills with compassion to patients.Should exhibit a professional demeanor and work well with others.Should exhibit flexibility and reliability. This position is full time and requires local area travel.Should possess the ability to learn new information and task, solve problems and multi-task.Must possess a High school diploma or GED.Keys to success:EagerTech SavvyAttention to detailExcellent customer serviceTechnicians:1 year recent experience preferred.COA or COT certification is preferred but not required.Applicants with experience should be proficient in patient triage and work-up; including tonometry and assisting physicians with minor office procedures.Increased consideration given to applicants WITH experience in the areas of OCT, scribing and/or electronic medical records.Salary commensurate with experience.
