Job Details
Provides non-clinical support to residents who smoke, ensuring safety and adherence to facility policies. Escorts residents to designated smoking areas, supervises smoking activities, and assists with lighting and extinguishing materials as needed. Monitors for safety risks (e.g., oxygen use, improper disposal), maintains cleanliness of smoking areas, and documents participation per facility guidelines. Offers courteous, respectful assistance similar to a hospitality aide while promoting resident comfort, dignity, and compliance with safety regulations.
