Internal Medicine physician job in Georgia :

A healthcare network in Georgia is seeking a licensed Collaborating Physician to provide Remote clinical oversight and collaboration for employed nurse practitioners.

About the Opportunity:

• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight for assigned nurse practitioners
• Complete quarterly chart reviews
• Review patient charts in alignment with patient volume and regulatory requirements
• Participate in physician and nurse practitioner meetings as needed
• Provide clinical guidance and support to assigned nurse practitioners

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Current residence in Georgia
• Current practice in Georgia
• Approximately 5+ years of post-training clinical experience
• Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
• Willingness to complete one onsite visit per year at the assigned practice site or home

Desired Skills:

• Additional active state medical licenses
• Telehealth or Remote Patient Monitoring experience
• Experience managing chronic conditions, such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Failure, and Cardiovascular Disease
• Interest in a long-term collaboration

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
