Bridgeway is a comprehensive human services organization and a federally designated Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving individuals and families across more than 20 counties in Illinois. Our behavioral health division delivers a full continuum of care, including outpatient therapy, substance use disorder and prevention services, psychiatry and nursing, school-based programming, and crisis and SASS services. The Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services reports to the Vice President of Behavioral Health and serves as the senior clinical and operational leader for all direct-care behavioral health programs. - Provide administrative and clinical supervision to program directors and clinical staff across outpatient, SUD, psychiatry, nursing, school-based, crisis, and specialty service areas.
- Ensure clinical and operational compliance with Illinois DHS Rule 132, CARF accreditation standards, CCBHC certification requirements, Medicaid/Medicare, DCFS, and 42 CFR Part 2.
- Monitor and manage staff productivity, service utilization, and clinical documentation compliance across all service lines.
- Lead outcomes management and continuous quality improvement, including consumer outcome monitoring, documentation audits, and utilization review.
- Conduct structured clinical supervision in accordance with Rule 132 and CARF requirements.
- Manage the full employment lifecycle for direct reports, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and corrective action.
- Provide direct clinical services as needed and serve as a clinical resource to staff on evidence-based practice and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Behavioral Health on strategic planning, program development, and budget management.
- Fulfill all required reporting obligations to IDHS, Medicaid, CCBHC, and other state, federal, and county entities.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
- Applicants must be independently licensed to practice clinically in Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LP). Candidates with equivalent independent licensure in another state must be eligible for Illinois licensure.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible behavioral health supervisory and administrative experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Illinois DHS Rule 132, CARF standards, and CCBHC or similarly regulated community behavioral health environment preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Competitive salary: $89,000-$95,000 annually (salary commensurate with experience; opportunities for advancement based on qualifications).
