Please note: a resume is required for this positionPay Rate: $25.00 an hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSource, pre-screen, and evaluate qualified candidates for casino, hotel, and operational positions across the propertyGuide applicants through every step of the hiring process. From first contact and interviews to contingent job offers, pre-employment screenings, and orientation setupIdentify and build local recruitment channels using social media, digital job boards, high schools, trade schools, colleges, and community organizations, etc.Represent Treasure Island Resort & Casino at internal and external job fairs, community outreach events, and campus recruitment effortsBe future-focused by building strong relationships with department managers to understand and plan for their ongoing and future staffing needsHelp train and coach management teams on effective, objective interview techniques and fair hiring practicesDeliver exceptional service to job applicants and internal team members, matching the high guest service standards expected across the propertyMaintain accurate candidate records, job postings, and applicant statuses within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Ensure all hiring and recruitment activities strictly adhere to Native Preference policies, Tribal Gaming regulations, Tribal policies, federal laws, and any state laws formally adopted by The TribeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESEducation & ExperienceRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field3+ years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources experience, preferably in hospitality, gaming, or high-volume staffingMust possess a valid Driver's License and be able to travel to off-site recruitment events regularlySkillsRequired:Demonstrates strong typing skills with accuracy and efficiency when entering and maintaining information in computer systemsAccurate, highly organized, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong guest-service mindsetSolid problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skillsDemonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and respectfully with individuals at all levels of the organizationPreferred:Experience using UKG Pro (specifically the Recruiting and Onboarding modules) or similar HRIS/ATS platformsREQUIRED TRAININGTreasure Island Guest Service & Culture TrainingHuman Resources Systems & ATS Training (UKG Pro Recruiting & Onboarding)TIPS Alcohol Awareness / Responsible Beverage Service TrainingTribal Gaming Licensing & Regulatory Compliance OrientationFair Hiring, Structured Interviewing, and Objective Evaluation TrainingAny additional position-related or regulatory training as determined by HR LeadershipPHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit for long periods of time with moderate amounts walking and standingMust have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneelMust be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinelyMust have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationWORKING ENVIRONMENTWork is performed primarily in administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke, and outdoors for team member eventsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysExtensive computer useOccasionally must deal with angry or hostile individualsHigh volume direct public contact
