Health Information Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Technician to support medical records operations and administrative functions within a healthcare environment. This position is ideal for candidates with recent front-office or administrative experience in a medical office setting who are comfortable working with electronic records, maintaining confidential information, and supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Recent administrative experience in a medical office setting required
• Front office healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) experience preferred; training will be provided
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Minimum Requirements

• At least 9 months of experience in records management, administrative support, or related office work
• Experience or training in medical terminology
• Experience with typing, data entry, and document management
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
